As President of Precision Opinion, Jim provides vast knowledge and hands-on implementation in all disciplines of market research. Jim is a graduate of the University of Florida. The marketing giant Procter & Gamble recruited him, where his formal education was put to practical use. Jim was involved in the development of marketing strategies and sales campaigns in the Bar Soap and Household Cleaning Product Division of P&G. After six years with P&G, Jim went on to become Vice President of Marketing for Mattel, Inc. He was assigned to the entertainment division, which included the tourism theme park Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. At Mattel, Jim developed marketing strategies for domestic and international markets including North America, South America and Europe.
In addition to planning, developing and implementing custom data collection projects for clients, Jim also moderates focus groups for a wide variety of entertainment, consumer and business-to-business clients.
Jim’s knowledge of the gaming industry, both the customer and the supplier side, has sent him to every gaming market in the United States as well as every gaming venue including riverboats, Indian casinos, limited play casinos and of course Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
For the consumer industry, Jim regularly tests advertising campaigns, entertainment concepts, as well as customer service programs.
Guthrie has been with the company for 11 years and is the driving force behind the technology innovations of Precision Opinion. Clients rely on his expertise to plan, develop and implement secure data collection procedures on a multiple of platforms. An information technology expert with hands-on experience and vast knowledge in the data collection field, Guthrie also knows a thing or two about non-technological business practices. In addition to his IT expertise, he has undertaken many other duties which have expanded his professional repertoire. In 2007, Guthrie was well-prepared to take on a key role in building Precision Opinion, a technologically advanced market research services data collection company. Guthrie has a decade of experience in numerous operating systems, software packages, hardware, and the most advanced networking technologies. His leadership qualities, strong work ethic, and dedication to results led him to manage a team of systems, network administrators, and help desk personnel. Guthrie was responsible for implementing global technology infrastructure projects, new technology solutions, and innovative methods for productivity. Guthrie stands as one of Nevada's leading professionals in the technology and market research industries. Along with his professional success, he also holds a bachelor's of science in computer engineering, advanced training and numerous certifications including Cisco, Microsoft, and CompTIA. David is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a major in Finance. David oversees the entire operation of the telephone data collection facility and assures that the requirements of each client are delivered within his strict quality guidelines. He is involved in all day-to-day phone room operations including daily staffing for all projects, overseeing quality and production, training, managing and motivating phone room personnel and supervisors.
